Confession: I'm always buying outfits for my little girl, and dolling her up before we go almost anywhere. And it's rare that I find the time or the motivation to doll myself up on a day to day basis. In fact, there are days when my daughter could be mistaken for an American Girl doll, and I could be mistaken for a hobo off the street.
Hobo chic is a thing, right?!
Anyway, sometimes it's important for us moms to feel pretty. Yes, it can be a struggle. Yes, fitting rooms suck. And women/mothers are the masters at putting themselves down. But it doesn't have to be that way.
After having my daughter, I found myself uncomfortable in my new body. It has taken time and effort to finally love the vessel that brought my sweet baby into the world. And it's true- I can't grab tops off the rack at Forever 21, like I used to do. So I made some adjustments to what I buy (peace out, peplum shirts) and where I shop.
I've found a store that keeps mothers in mind. Pink Blush carefully crafts it's clothing so that women can feel pretty before, during, and after pregnancy. This online boutique, which has both a maternity and non-maternity line, makes clothing that transitions from pregnancy to non-pregnancy and back again. They are made to grow and shrink as we do. And they fit beautifully.
Fun side note: Pink Blush also has dresses and tops conveniently designed for nursing mommas. How cool is that?!
My promise from the beginning of my journey as a writer and lifestyle blogger has been to share with women and mothers all the things I find that make life easier. A company with clothes that transition from maternity to post-maternity is a win for all of us! That's why I'm super excited to share.
In case you were wondering, the dress I'm wearing is from the Pink Blush non-maternity line, you can find it here.
I'm equally excited to announce that I am giving a Pink Blush Giftcard (worth 50 bucks) to one of my readers. There is no catch- just leave me a comment (below or on Instagram) and let me know you want in! A simple "enter me" with your email would be just fine. Contest closes THURSDAY at 9 pm.
I want to wish all of you a fabulous, stress-free holiday, and I'll catch you in the new year!
XO,
Emily
